JNU Student and Anti-CAA protestor Sharjeel Imam arrested in Sedition case

Jawahar Lal Nehru University Ph.D. student Sharjeel Imam and active Anti-CAA protestors have been arrested from Bihar against the case of “Sedition” speeches at Aligarh Muslim University on 16 January and also at many other places.
According to various media reports, Sharjeel has been arrested from the Jehanabad district of Bihar by Delhi Police Crime Branch on Tuesday after conducting a raid in Mumbai, Patna, and Delhi.
However, according to Imam Twitter tweet which he shares before his arrest in which he wrote: "I Have surrender to Delhi Police on 28 1 2020 at 3 PM and willing to operate with an investigation".
