Punjab Govt Cuts Employees Retirement age from 60 to 58: Punjab Budget

On Friday Punjab Government present their yearly budget in there state assembly with main highlights like reducing their government employees' retirement age from 60 years to 58-year-old, free education to students up to 12th class and many other announcements were made by Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal for Budget 2020-21.

The Total budget present by FM Badal was Rs 1, 54,805 crores, in which the agriculture sector to get Rs 12,526 Crore and the education sector to Rs 13,092 Crore and Rs 4,675 Crore to the health sector.

Power subsidy of Rs 8,275 Crore to farmers, 19 new IITs to be made and Under Smart City project Ludhiana and Amritsar to get Rs 104 Crore and Rs 76 Crore respectively and also Schemes like “Paani Bachao paisa kamao” are to be extended for taking more benefit of it.
